Every project is unique and we offer a flexible range of services that you can choose from depending on your needs and the scale of your project. Whether you are planning a full re-design of an existing garden; designing a brand new garden from scratch; transforming a specific part of a garden; or would just like some advice, we can put together a tailor made package of the most appropriate services.

Step 1 - Initial Design Assessment

This will involve a free introductory meeting, where we would meet you to show some examples of our work, and take an initial walk around your garden and help you to decide what your next steps with us might be. We take a detailed walk with you around your garden, making a note of what features you like and dislike and discussing your ideas and vision for the garden. We also assess the features of the site, including trees, significant planting areas, hard landscape materials, levels and slopes, access, aspect and microclimate. We would provide ideas about design opportunities in the garden and what things might not work. This would cover suggestions for individual areas to a large scale ‘vision’ for the whole the garden.

Step 2 - Full Design Layout

We will then produce a comprehensive, detailed design plan for your garden, based on the brief discussed. The output is a drawing showing the new layout of the whole garden or specific area that you would like to be re-designed. The design plan would show existing features to be retained, new design features, the position and type of hard landscape materials, access to the garden and broad level changes.

We can also produce a coloured, three dimensional illustration of your garden design project which can help you to clearly visualise the proposals more clearly. We would provide several views of the garden from key viewpoints.
