Contemporary & Stylish Garden In Churston

This extensive build was designed by our director Oli Pitts. Being a long garden, our clients wanted to create a flowing end-to-end journey, with an elegant, minimalist feel. We extended the existing gravel area to incorporate new, smooth sandstone paving, a low curved feature retainer containing colourful planting and enclosed hand built copper ball water feature. This lower wall contoured the boundary of the lawn, creating a pathway between the lawn and house. A winding pathway of floating stepping stones now flow through the garden and over a newly refurbished enlarged pond.

The pathway then meanders to guide our clients up through a meadow area leading to a newly installed composite deck and overhead pergola, where they can sit and enjoy views down the entirety of the garden. There were many bespoke features included in the scheme, including a bespoke chrome statue fixed to a curved plinth using smooth, square natural stone. The garden is elegantly illuminated at night by a hi-tech wirelessly controlled lighting system. One of our first extensive garden contracts, this project paved the way for our mission in creating and constructing stunning outdoor spaces.

“We used Legendary Landscapes for a complete redesign and construction of our back garden. We are delighted with the result. The design process was painless, in that the plans reflected what we wanted, but significantly improved by Oli’s experience and design skills. Throughout we felt we were engaged in a hassle-free dialogue, rather than being told what we were going to get! Great job – strongly recommended.” Graham Mosey
